Pendeskripsian kontur intonasi jenis ayat dalam filem Sembilu 1 dan Sembilu 2
Abstract
This study deals with the descriptions of intonation contours of sentence types by adapting the first two initial tone movements. The findings of these varied intonation contours were simplified by using prototype principles. There were four groups of initial tone movements in Malay type of sentences, i. e. %LL, %LH, %HL and %HH, with optional combinations of medial tones and L%, L*%, H % and H “% as the finals. The %HL group showed the highnest, 57 (53.27%) and the lowest being the %HH, 2 (1.87%). The final tone, the highest being the L%, 82 (76.63%) as opposed to the L*% and H*%, I (0.94%).
